    Clarence Paul Brubaker, 931 north second street, died in General hospital early this morning following entrance there at 6 o'clock Thursday evening when he suffered a heart attack.
    Mr. Brubaker was born March 31, 1893 at South Point, son of the late Elmer and Elizabeth Law Brubaker. He was a mechanic at the Dayton Malleable Iron Company up until his last illness. He was brought to his home Tuesday from the plant where he had become ill.
    The deceased was a member of South Point Baptist Church
    Surviving are the widow Martha Norris Brubaker and these children, Clyde Brubaker of Trent, Michigan, Elmer E. Brubaker of Lewis Idaho Mrs. Ruth Blair, Arnold C Brubaker and Donald C. Brubaker all of Ironton.
    Eight grandchildren, one brother Marion of South Point, one sister Mrs. Edith Hillgenberg, South Point also survive. Two daughters and three sons preceded him in death.

    Clarence married Martha Jane Norris 12 Jun 1914, Catlettsburg, Boyd County, Kentucky. Martha (daughter of E.     Mrs. Martha Jane Norris Brubaker, 76, formerly of 216 N. 6th St., died Tuesday in a Lawrence County nursing home area of an illness of 10 years.
    The native of Hubbardtown W. Va was the widow of Clarenc P. Brubaker. She was a former member of the lChurch of the Nazarene and Daughters of America.
    Surviving are four sons, Clyde N. of Jackson, Elmer F. of Cincinnati, Arnold C. of Flat Rock, Mich. and Donald of South Point; a daughter Mrs. Ruth Blair, of Ironton. 14 grandchildre; 4 great grandchildren; three sisters Mrs. Bertha Travis of Lod, Ohio., Mrs Mary Hughes of Lorain and Mrs. Rosie Davidson of Berea.

  1. 8.  Elmer Emory Brubaker was born 6 Jan 1865, South Point, Lawrence County, Ohio (son of Daniel D. Brubaker and Nancy Davidson); died 21 May 1917, Keller Hospital, South Point, Ohio; was buried White Cottage Cemetery, Fayette Township, Ohio.

    Notes:

    Elmer E. Cause of death - acute peritonitis brought on by injuries sustained from a horse while being shoes. Taken to the hospital but never recovered.

    Elmer E. born January 6, 1867 and died 1917 married Elizabeth Law. He was the owner and operator of one of the first blacksmith and machine shops in South Point, on Old 52 and Ferry Street. They also had a photography business named E.E. Brubaker and Company. Floating Portraits and Landscape which was a small houseboat that went from South Point to Catlettsberg, Kentucky. (Photo Included.) Elizabeth Law born 1872 died 1936, daughter of Henry (B. 1844 D. 1900) and Mary, never remarried after Elmer death, she took in boarders who were working on the road and railroad. She loved sewing, quilting and was a good hand to care for the old, sick and new mothers. She owned the first radio in the area, so friends would come from miles around to listen to it.     Elmer E. Brubaker, aged 50 years. 4 months and 25 days, died at 11 o'clock a.,. Monaday at the Keller hospital from the effects of an injury sustained by him as he was shoeing a horse last week. He was the black smith at South Point and while at his work last week was injured internally when a horse he was shoeing lunged violently. He was brought to the hospital her Saturday, but there was no chance, for his recovery. Mr. Brubaker was one of the best known citizens of South Point and his death will prove a real loss to his community. He is survived by his wife and several children. He was an honest, straightforward citizen, a loyal husband and father. No definite arrangements have been made for the funeral. The body is being prepared for burial at "Blingaman & Jones undertaking parlor.

    Mrs. Elizabeth Brubaker of South Point, widow of Elmer Brubaker, passed away Friday at 2 a.m. after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the South Point M. E. Church. Rev Law of Coal Grove, assisted by the South Point Chapter of the O. E. S., will conduct services. Burial will be made in White Cottage cemetery in charge of Gholson & Son.
    She is survived by three children, Clarence of Ironton and Marion of South Point and Edith at home.
